Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport / Arusha Airport
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport, your driver will meet and transfer you to Babylon Lodge, located on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. Enjoy dinner at the lodge and a briefing on your safari with your guide. You will agree on the departure time for the next morning.
Day 2: Marangu Gate Hike & Chaga Caves Tour
After an early breakfast, embark on a day hike from Marangu Gate to Mandara Huts on Mount Kilimanjaro. This trek takes you through lush montane forests, where you might spot Colobus monkeys and diverse birdlife. After reaching Mandara Huts (2,700m), descend and visit the Chaga Caves, historically used as hiding places by the Chaga people during tribal conflicts. Later, transfer back to Meru View Lodge, near Arusha.
Day 3: Leisure Day in Arusha (Optional Activities Available)
Enjoy a relaxed day at Meru View Lodge with several optional activities available:
- ✔ Arusha National Park – A game drive with a walking safari alongside an armed ranger.
- ✔ Arusha Town Tour – Explore local markets, visit the Cultural Heritage Center, and enjoy Tanzanian cuisine.
- ✔ Coffee Tour – Visit a nearby coffee plantation to learn about coffee production and enjoy a fresh cup.

Day 4: Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, head to Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions, large elephant herds, and thousands of flamingos. Enjoy a full-day game drive, exploring diverse ecosystems from lush forests to open plains and soda lakes. In the late afternoon, ascend the Rift Valley escarpment and check into Marera Valley Lodge in Karatu.
Day 5: Serengeti National Park
Depart early, driving through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you’ll get your first views of the Ngorongoro Crater. Continue to Serengeti National Park, home to the Great Migration and Big Cats. Enjoy an afternoon game drive before arriving at Pamoja Serengeti Luxury Tented Camp in Central Serengeti for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Full-Day Game Drive in Serengeti
Spend a full day exploring the Serengeti’s vast plains, searching for lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and migrating herds of wildebeest and zebra. Your driver-guide will customize the day based on wildlife movement. Overnight at Pamoja Serengeti Luxury Tented Camp.
Day 7: Another Full-Day Game Drive in Serengeti
Enjoy another full day in the Serengeti, increasing your chances of witnessing predator action, rare species, and seasonal migration herds. Explore new areas of the park based on animal movements before returning to your tented camp for the night.
Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive
After an early breakfast, drive back through the Serengeti and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater. This UNESCO World Heritage Site offers incredible wildlife sightings, including the rare black rhino. Enjoy a game drive on the crater floor, spotting lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, and abundant birdlife. After lunch, ascend and drive to Marera Valley Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 9: Tarangire National Park
Depart early for Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds, towering baobab trees, and diverse wildlife along the Tarangire River. Enjoy a full-day game drive, searching for predators and grazers before heading back to Arusha. Overnight at Meru View Lodge.
Day 10: Transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport / Arusha Airport
Depending on your flight schedule, your driver will transfer you to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport, marking the end of your unforgettable safari and Kilimanjaro experience.
