Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), your tour guide will warmly welcome you and escort you to Meru View Lodge, located at the foot of Arusha National Park, just five minutes from the park entrance. After check-in, take some time to relax and unwind. In the evening, enjoy a delicious dinner featuring a mix of local and international cuisine, setting the perfect tone for the thrilling adventure ahead.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park – Wildlife & Baobab Trees

After a hearty breakfast, you’ll depart for Tarangire National Park, home to Tanzania’s largest population of elephants and its iconic baobab trees. The park offers rich biodiversity, with a variety of wildlife, including lions, giraffes, and a vibrant birdlife. A thrilling game drive will take you through the vast landscape, following the Tarangire River, which serves as the park’s lifeline.

In the late afternoon, you’ll leave the park and head to Marera Valley Lodge, located in the serene highlands near Karatu. This charming lodge offers spacious cottages with breathtaking valley views. Enjoy a swim in the pool or relax on your private veranda before a delightful dinner in the cozy dining area.

Day 3: Ngorongoro & Serengeti Plains

After breakfast, you’ll drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a unique ecosystem and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Stop at the crater rim for a stunning panoramic view before continuing toward the endless Serengeti Plains. En route, enjoy a game drive as you witness the transition from highland forests to the vast, open savanna of the Serengeti.

In the late afternoon, you’ll arrive at Tanzania Bush Camps, where you’ll settle in for the night, surrounded by the wild beauty of the Serengeti.

Day 4: Exploring Central Serengeti & The Great Migration

After an early breakfast at Tanzania Bush Camp, set out to explore the Central Serengeti, renowned for its breathtaking landscapes and diverse wildlife. If traveling in July, this area offers prime viewing of the Great Migration, as thousands of wildebeests and zebras traverse the plains, often followed by predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas.

Your expert guide will take you on a full-day game drive, tracking the movement of wildlife and stopping for a picnic lunch at a scenic spot. In the late afternoon, return to camp for a hearty dinner and a restful night under the African sky.

Day 5: Another Full-Day Serengeti Safari

Start your day with an early breakfast before venturing deeper into the Serengeti. Another full day of game drives offers further opportunities to witness the park’s stunning wildlife and dramatic landscapes. Pause for a picnic lunch in the wilderness, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the African savanna.

As the sun sets, return to Tanzania Bush Camp for your final evening in this remarkable region. Enjoy a delicious dinner under the stars as you reflect on your Serengeti adventures.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater & Maasai Cultural Visit

After breakfast, bid farewell to the Serengeti and journey back to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, descending into the iconic Ngorongoro Crater. This natural wonder is home to an abundance of wildlife, including lions, elephants, rhinos, and a variety of antelope species. A game drive within the crater offers spectacular wildlife encounters in a unique setting.

Following a picnic lunch, visit a traditional Maasai Boma to experience the rich culture of the Maasai people. Learn about their traditional way of life, sustainable coexistence with nature, and enjoy their warm hospitality, including traditional songs and dances.

In the late afternoon, head to Marera Valley Lodge, where you’ll unwind, enjoy a delicious dinner, and rest for the night.

Day 7: Lake Manyara National Park & Return to Arusha

After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park, known for its lush vegetation, diverse wildlife, and famous tree-climbing lions. A morning game drive through the park offers opportunities to spot giraffes, buffaloes, elephants, and an impressive array of bird species.

In the late afternoon, exit the park and drive back to Arusha, where you’ll check in at Meru View Lodge for a relaxing evening and dinner.

Day 8: Flight to Zanzibar – Arrival in Stone Town

After breakfast, transfer to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, your driver will take you to Tembo House Hotel, a historic beachfront property in Stone Town. After check-in, take time to unwind and soak in the serene ambiance of the hotel, which offers stunning views of the Indian Ocean. Enjoy a restful evening and a delightful dinner, preparing for the island adventures ahead.

Day 9–10: Exploring Zanzibar – Stone Town & Beach Relaxation

After breakfast at Tembo House Hotel, embark on a guided tour of Stone Town, exploring its rich blend of African, Arab, Indian, and European influences. Visit historic landmarks such as the House of Wonders, Sultan’s Palace, Freddie Mercury’s House, and the Old Fort. Stroll through vibrant local markets and admire the island’s unique architecture.

Later in the day, transfer to Spice Island Resort in Jambiani, where you’ll enjoy two nights of relaxation on Zanzibar’s pristine beaches. Indulge in fresh island cuisine and unwind by the ocean. Additional activities such as spice tours, snorkeling, or dhow cruises can be arranged with the hotel reception in advance.

Day 11: Departure from Zanzibar

On your final day, enjoy a leisurely breakfast before checking out from your accommodation. Your driver will transfer you to Zanzibar Airport, where you’ll board your flight, concluding your incredible Tanzanian adventure.
