15-Day Special Northern Tanzania Safari including Baloon Safari &Zanzibar Holiday

Arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport, you will be picked up and drive to Moivaro Lodge. Before dinner you will be briefed about the coming days. The tour is private and flexable, you will be deciding with your driver day by day. There after you will be served dinner and enjoy your evening.

Our driver will pick you up after breakfast and you will visit Arusha National Park with lunch boxes. You will do a walk with an armed ranger. Thereafter you will drive up the slopes of Mt. Meru. After the descent you will continue to the Momella Lakes, to Ngurdoto Crater and other places. You will leave Arusha NP in the later afternoon and will head back to Moivaro Lodge.

After breakfast, you will be picked up by your driver guide and drive up to the walking point at the village, you will be introduced to your Cultural tour guide of the village and together with your driver guide you will walk into Nkwanikoli Forest, then continue to the village where local lunch will be prepared, while enjoying your lunch, you will experience coffee processing and enjoy a cup of coffee. You will continue to the forest where we have our tree planting project and you will plant a tree or two. You will decide with your driver time to drive back to your lodge.

After breakfast and an approximate 2 hour drive you will arrive at the Tarangire National Park. Giant baobab trees, bush savannah and the seasonal marshes add to the wonder of this nature reserve. The Tarangire National Park is considered as one of the best places to view elephants up close. Later on drive to Endoro Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Today will be a longer trip to Serengeti. At first you will drive through wonderful wild forest up the slopes of Ngorongoro Crater until you reach the top of the Crater rim. If there isn’t any fog, you will enjoy a fantastic view to the crater floor 600 metres far below, with a diameter of roughly 20 kilometres. Thereafter you will continue with your safari to Serengeti. In Serengeti you will continue with game drives until the later afternoon. You will then head to Serengeti Katikati Tented Camp in Central Serengeti.

You will do a full day’s game drive in Serengeti. In this park you have the biggest chances to see the 3 big cats lion, leopard and cheetah. You are flexiable, when you feel like the day is enough, just decide with your driver guide time to return to Serengeti Katikati Tented Camp.

Early in the morning you will do a balloon flight with Serengeti Balloon Safaris. It is an experience of a lifetime as you rise with the sun and gently bob through the air in whichever direction the winds take you. Thereafter you will do a further day game drives in Serengeti National Park. In the late afternoon you will return to Serengeti Katikati Tented Camp.

After an early breakfast you will cross the Serengeti and you will head to Ngorongoro Crater rim. Thereafter you will drive down to the Crater floor. Here you will see lots of wildlife spread almost all over the floor. If you are lucky, you might even see some of the last rhinos of Tanzania, as well as some huge elephant bulls with huge tusks. You will leave the Crater shortly before the expiry of the permitted time. The drive up to the Crater rim will allow you once more spectacular views down to the Crater Floor. You will then leave the Conservation Area and will head back to Karatu and from there to Endoro Lodge.

You will visit Lake Manyara NP today. You will enter via northern gate and will cross the complete park and will exit via southern gate. Only in case weather conditions make it impossible to cross the park completely, you will enter and exit the park via northern gate. You will leave the park in the late afternoon and will head back to Arusha and from there to Meru View Lodge.

Today you will visit Maji Chemka at Boma Ngo'ombe. You will be accompanied by a cook who will prepare BBQ for you. You will have chance to swim in a unique natural pool with strong warm water current surrounded with amazing roots of fig trees. There is a rope swing for jumping into the water. Its a relaxing day, late afternoon you will drive back to Meru View Lodge.

You will be transferred to Arusha airport to catch your flight to Zanzibar. There you will be awaited by a driver from Spice Island Hotel. You will enjoy the 4-star hotel. Spice Island Hotel which is situated between the towns of Paje and Jambiani on the beautiful south-east coast of Zanzibar. You will decide activities during your stay. Please note that activities are not included in the package.

After breakfast, depend on your flight schedule, you will drive to the airport to catch your flight back home.
