Itinerary
Day 1 :
Arrival at the airport
Our team will pick you up from the airport. Transfer to Meru View Lodge. Meet and greet the
team and briefing on your safari.
Day 2 :
Lake Manyara National Park
Depart from Arusha in the morning for Manyara National Park, full day game drive. Lake Manyara National Park is well known for its large elephant herds. From the open roof of the vehicle you will experience the seasonal swamps, savanna and Lake Manyara in search of many animals including zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, elephant and giraffe. Dinner and Ovenight at Pamoja Olea Farm Lodge.
Day 3 :
Lake Manyara National Park to Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast, we boot up and head out towards the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest volcanic caldera. Almost 20 km wide, approximately 600 m deep and known for its large variety of wildlife, the caldera, formed at the explosion of a volcano some three million years ago, was once taller than Kilimanjaro. As a self-contained paradise, the caldera hosts an abundance of the finest animal life on the planet. Dinner and overnight at Tanzania Luxury Bush Camps.
Day 4 :
Full day game drive in Serengeti National Park
Enjoy your full day game drive in the beautiful plains. The Serengeti is the habitat for an abundance of wildlife, such as impala, buffalo, crocodile and hippo. However, it is more well- known for its great migrating herds of zebras (two hundred and fifty thousand), wildebeest (one and a half million), and antelope (half a million). The animals’ trek is determined by the rainfall and varies from year to year. Dinner and overnight at Tanzania Luxury Bush Camps.
Day 5 :
Another full day game drive in Serengeti National Park
Enjoy your full day game drive in the beautiful plains. The Serengeti is the habitat for an abundance of wildlife, such as impala, buffalo, crocodile and hippo. However, it is more well- known for its great migrating herds of zebras (two hundred and fifty thousand), wildebeest (one and a half million), and antelope (half a million). Day 6 :
Serengeti to Ngorongoro (game drive enroute)
After an early breakfast, you will head out for another game drive in the Serengeti. You might be able to spot the “Big Five” – lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard – before embarking on your journey to the Ngorongoro Crater. The animals roam freely through the unfenced reserves offering you an uninterrupted game viewing experience. You will overnight at Rhino Lodge.
Day 7 :
Ngorongoro Crater
Early risers are rewarded with breath-taking views of the rising sun over the crater’s edge and after a hearty breakfast, you will drive down the adventurous track into the crater. After lunch you will ascend the steep walls of the crater and head to Pamoja Olea Farm Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 8 :
Tarangire National Park and to Arusha
After breakfast, you will drive to your final destination on this epic safari - Tarangire National Park. Tarangire is well known for its large elephant herds. From the open roof of the vehicle you will experience the seasonal swamps, savanna and Tarangire River in search of many animals including zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, elephant and giraffe. Later on you will drive back to Arusha and to Meru View Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 9 :
Transfer to the airport
Depending on your flight schedule, your driver will bring you to the airport, either to home or to Zanzibar.
