A DIFFERENT WAY TO EXPERIENCE TANZANIA

Canoeing Safari

A quieter viewpoint at water level.

Tanzania, at your own pace.

A guided canoe outing changes the angle of a safari. Instead of looking from a road, you move along the water, with time to listen and watch the margins where land and lake meet.

Small Momella Lake in Arusha National Park is an established option by prior arrangement. Availability on Lake Manyara should be checked specifically for your date and conditions; we do not include it automatically because a map shows a lake.

How the experience unfolds

  1. Meet the activity guide and fit the provided safety equipment.
  2. Learn the boarding and paddling instructions.
  3. Follow the authorised water route with your guide.
  4. Return to the landing point and continue your park visit.
