A DIFFERENT WAY TO EXPERIENCE TANZANIA

Safari Sundowners

Leave a little space at the end of the day.

Tanzania, at your own pace.

Sometimes the right safari plan is simply to stop. A sundowner creates a pause before dinner: somewhere suitable to sit, a drink of your choice and time to watch the light soften across the landscape.

The setting might be a lodge viewpoint or an authorised outdoor location arranged by your camp. We check the details with the property, because a private setup, drinks and transport may carry an additional charge.

How the experience unfolds

  1. Agree the setup and any celebration details in advance.
  2. Travel to the confirmed viewpoint or settle into the lodge setting.
  3. Enjoy drinks and light refreshments if included.
  4. Return in line with lodge arrangements and park rules.

Possible when weather and local operating rules allow; covered alternatives may be available.

Before you go

A sundowner is optional unless listed as included in your itinerary.

Tell us about dietary needs and preferred drinks.

Outdoor setups depend on permission, conditions and the camp’s service arrangements.

A sunset stop does not imply permission for a night game drive.
