A JOURNEY WORTH IMAGINING

Your safari, at a glance.

See the wider ecosystem through three nights around Ndutu and two in central Serengeti. The combination creates a broader seasonal safari than concentrating solely on the herds, before ending in Ngorongoro Crater.

Moments to look forward to

  • Three Ndutu nights
  • Two central Serengeti nights
  • Tarangire and the crater

The route

Welcome to Arusha → Arusha to Tarangire → Into the southern plains → The calving-season landscape → A second day around Ndutu → Ndutu to Central Serengeti → A full day in central Serengeti → Serengeti to the Ngorongoro highlands → Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

When to travel

Typically January–March; adjusted to rainfall and herd positions

The story, day by day.

A proposed daily flow. Timings, rooms and arrangements are confirmed in your personal itinerary.

Day 04The calving-season landscape

Explore the southern plains with time to wait, watch and follow your guide’s assessment of wildlife activity.

Wildebeest calving is seasonal and rain-dependent; neither births nor predator encounters are guaranteed. Return to the same camp tonight.

Day 05A second day around Ndutu
